It is no coincidence that most of the 14 fulltime professorial appointments in Yeshiva College made last summer filled spots in the social science fields. Noticing that the College was not keeping up with a growing national trend, officials are exploring all ways of encouraging students to explore majors in social science disciplines.
How can student leaders and their organizations - the effective voices of the student body - be better heard throughout campus? This is a question that has always existed and no doubt always will.
