Caravan of Dreams

Address: 405 E.6th St New York, NY

Caravan of Dreams is not your typical kosher restaurant. In fact it is a vegan restaurant that happens to be kosher and delicious too. You may be wondering what a vegan place could actually serve that's tasty. Well, aside from great hummus and dips that rival any Israeli joint, and a variety of soups your Sabbath meal has never seen, their specialties include burritos, stir-fry, sandwiches and fresh smoothies that can help any hungry couple get their fill in no time. If you two are downtown and hungry, give Caravan of Dreams a try.

The Yeshiva University Museum lies in close proximity to the American Sephardi Federation, and many other interesting Jewish Museums. With many diverse exhibitions, which include an extensive well-reviewed Dreyfus affair exhibit, a photographic exhibition devoted to Safed, a piece on women behind the mechitzas, and Jewish chaplains in the U.S. Army, the center offers a great, fresh take on history and will certainly provide a fun time for both of you.
