Have you ever strolled silently down the hallways in Furst late on a Wednesday night only to be ambushed by a tremendous poster of some larger-than-life smiling YU guys? Perhaps you've taken the shuttle to midtown to return some library books and had a staring contest with a picture of your neighbor hanging on the wall in the beautiful Brookdale lobby?  If you've ever eaten dinner one Sunday in the caf and there was nobody else around, you may have noticed that your friend's roommate's brother is featured in a canvas portrait on the wall, focusing intently toward the horizon.  Have you ever wondered who is behind these marvelous works of art?  It's not the YU Arts Festival.  It's Productions.

Located on the basement floor of Belfer Hall, Productions is Yeshiva's postal and graphic service department.  They can make you thousands of copies of that "books for sale" flyer that you think would be great wallpaper for the stairway to the caf.  They'll print out those digital photographs you took of your car mysteriously disappearing from its parking spot – in full color, of course.  They can even put them into an envelope and send them to your insurance company!

Productions also does a lot of binding work for the University.  They can produce any kind of bound materials, from brochures to newsletters to student planners, in beautiful detail.  You might be thankful for that if you're this year's Mr. October, or if next year's planner features you on the cover.

The dedicated Productions staff is ready to make anything you need. They use top of the line equipment for any kind of production service you can think of: engraving, vinyl lettering, CD/DVD duplication, wide-format printing, finishing, and more.  If you can't quite get your project to come out looking the way you want it, you can even have the Productions graphic specialists help you with the design and layout.

These services are available to students as well.  The customer service window in Belfer Hall B13 is open from 9-5 Monday through Thursday, and 9-2 on Friday.  If you’re not around the Wilf Campus, you can also go to one of the Productions satellite offices that are conveniently located on the Beren Campus (215 Lex, Cafe Level) and at the Cardozo School of Law (55 5th Ave).  If you provide specific information on quantity, paper size and weight, ink type, features, and any finishing work you might want, the representative can give you an estimate for cost and production time.  Quick copies can usually be done in a day, while digital photographs can typically take 3-4 days and brochures can take over a week.  However, as the productions department is the main source for YU's printed media, the office may process student orders at a slower rate during the beginning of each semester, and processing times may vary throughout the year.

The postal processing and distribution section of the productions department ships and receives U.S. mail and inter campus mail, and opens 30 minutes before the graphic services at 8:30 am for your convenience.
