As the nucleus of the American Jewish community has long been its educational institutions, the welfare of Jewish day schools in America is of paramount importance to the community. And, considering the constant battle Jewish schools confront to make ends meet financially, the question of the government funding of private schools is a key issue for the Jewish community in the upcoming election.
